Aromatherapy is an ancient art of natural healing using pure essences extracted from aromatic plants, and flowers and applying them through massage to the body. This holistic therapy   Different parts of the plants are used for oils, including flowers, leaves, bark etc.  These enhance the body’s own healing ability and inspires the body, mind and spirit to achieve a perfect balance.  Whilst I am already a qualified aromatherapist, I am taking my training one step further and training to be a Clinical Aromatherapist.  This enhances my knowledge and practice of the art.

What are the benefits?
Aromatherapy treatments are a wonderful way to relax, rebalance and harmonise your whole being. They improve circulation, aid the removal of toxins, and bring a healthy glow to the skin.

A wide range of conditions can also benefit:

  • Headache

  • Insomnia

  • Muscular Tension

  • Respiratory Disorders

  • Skin Complaints

  • Backache

  • PMT

  • Digestive Problems

  • Circulatory Disorders

  • Stress

How does it Work?

After your consultation, your aromatherapist will select suitable oils and to suit you. You do have a choice in this.   I select one or two carrier or base oils into which I select up to 3 essential oils to blend to make a perfect treatment for you.  Techniques are used which stimulate the lymphatic system to rid the body of toxins and energy blocks. The oils enter the Olfactory nerves and circulatory system immediately, uplifting and inspiring their senses while cleansing and nourishing the whole system.

To gain optimum results:
To gain maximum absorption of the essential oils it is recommended but not essential that you take a shower prior to treatment.  It is important to refrain from showering again for 6-12 hours after the session.
